There are numerous walks of varying difficulty that are
possible from the refuge.
If you would like more information on these walks or others,

 Les
Lacs Jovets
2 hrs walk from the refuge. Go in the direction of La Balme refuge,
through "La Rollaz" high mountain pastures, then above
La Balme refuge turn left towards the lakes. A last steep little
climb takes you to the first lake, in which you might be lucky
enough to spot some trout. A walk without particular difficulty.
Le
Col du Bonhomme
2 1/2 hrs from the refuge. Follow the Tour du Mont Blanc and GR5
signs, go past "La Rollaz" pastures, La Balme refuge,
Plan des Dames , and you arrive at Le Col du Bonhomme. A walk
without any particular difficulty.
Tré
la Tête and its glacier
2 hrs from the refuge. Go in the direction of the Cascade de Combe
Noire (waterfall) that you can admire in passing. Approx. 1 1/2
hrs uphill through forest. Arrive at Tre La Tete refuge. If you
still have the energy, 10 minutes further on is the glacier.
A constant uphill walk.
Le
Signal and le Col du Joly
1 1/2 hrs from the refuge. Follow the "Tour du Pays du Mont
Blanc" route. You go up through the forest until you reach
the Roselette pastures then you arrive at Le Signal. You then
follow a "road" up to the Col du Joly. From there you
have a beautiful view of the Beaufort valley.
